Water Resource Plan 2 By overfishing in our oceans it is ruining the ecosystems in them, and this overfishing is only allowed because there are not any claims legally preventing this from happening. With the overfishing in our oceans fish cannot produce new fish fast enough to keep up with our needs or habits. What is actually happening from the result of overfishing is it is creating dilemmas between the commercial fishers making a living from fishing while also feeding the people on this planet, and the scientists who believe the overfishing is harming the ocean-dwelling fish that are closing to their extinction. Scientists believe this may be the worst impact made by humans in history. I believe it is naive of humans to think that the ocean has an endless supply of fish. Jeremy Jackson of the Oceanography Institute at Scripps believes that it is not too late to recover and reverse the problems we have caused. Of course we cannot continue in the process of overfishing but with the right program implemented we can overcome this issue. I have developed a plan of actions below that will focus on helping in resolving the issues of overfishing, while also addressing the reasons as to why the fish in the ocean are declining. Table one presents the sustainability plan for the declining fish.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
