Atmospheric Pollution 2 The earth’s atmosphere is made up of a natural active multipart system of gases that assists in the sustaining of life on our planet. Chemical releases of organic material, and particular substances, are what initiates pollution of the atmosphere called air pollution. Humans and other living things on earth are harmed by air pollution, and the atmospheres natural environment is depleted and destroyed by air pollution as well. Air pollutions has its negative problems and its positive problems created by humans. One harmful result we have on air pollution is our automobiles release a green house gas into earth’s atmosphere. On a positive note sustainable steps have been taken by humans to help reduce the problems of emissions. These steps include: Trying fuels of different alternatives, legislations being passed, and Producing vehicles that are more efficient with energy and fuel. This mitigation plans purpose is to gather global, societal, and government support in applying blueprints that can help in the quality of air recovery. In addition to the plan, the United States will be less dependent on oil from foreign countries. It will also provide encouragements to find different alternatives for improvements. They are as follows: Consumers receiving incentives for buying vehicles that use alternative fuels, developing different fuels to eliminate gasoline of a petroleum-base, and supporting the investments of alternate fuel transportation by businesses. There will also be a time-line included in my plan, in which the proposed strategies will be implemented, along with more emphasize on the challenges and advantages related to this effort. In the United States automobiles provide the single most air pollution (EPA, 2010). The cause of vehicles contributing to a larger value of the pollutions is because the engines do not burn the petroleum-based and diesel fuels in a way to prevent this. The combustion and evaporation processes give off contaminants of by-products like particular matter, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxides, nitrogen oxide, and additional toxins of air.

Atmospheric Pollution 3 The organic compound of incomplete combustions from gasoline, provide contributions to the ozone leveled with the ground, along with the cars exhausts nitrogen oxides and Sunlight. These issues have been known to cause changes in the earth’s climate and provide issues with the respiratory system in humans. (EPA, 2010) However many studies have been performed on the posed threat of air pollutions, to determine the severities of the matter. For some reason scientists are having a difficult time providing enough evidence to reach agreements on a global scale. Apparently this was the case
