Washington, DC 20460 Dear EPA Headquarters, I recently visited your website at  http://www.epa.gov/ .  I was disappointed as I scrolled through the list of  environmental issues; it was lacking an important issue: global dimming.  I realize only the most essential matters are  in print.  However, I do believe global dimming is as vital as ever.   In the 1940s, researchers began to gain a better understanding of aerosols.  They investigated smoke,  poison gas, and nuclear fallouts, impelled by World War II.  Yet, most never suspected aerosols linked to climate  change.  In the early 1980s, a theory about dinosaur extinction was proposed by Walter and Luis Alvarez.  They  believed a giant asteroid had caused global cooling 65 million years ago as it hit Earth.  The dramatic change in
