Patrick Mooney Tick-Tock Lab Objective:  To study the effect of mass, amplitude, and the length of the string on a period of a  pendulum. Procedure:  Set up a pendulum using an object tied to a string, and put the loop of the other  string on to a hook. One will do three trials for each variable, changing the mass, amplitude, and  length of the string for each set of trials. For each trial, one should time ten oscillations, and do  this three times for each variation, recording the results. Using the average of the time of the ten  oscillations, one should divide that value by ten to get the period in seconds.
