Jesus and Mohammed Jesus and Mohammed were born in separate times. But both men had very similar goals during their life time. Jesus was the man that was responsible for the promotion of Christianity, while Mohammed shouted the word of Islam. Both Jesus and Mohammed became known for their major role plays in the establishment and strengthening of each others religion groups. Though they had many similarities that exist between the two men, they were totally opposite people. Each of them had many differences in there lives as historical figures that we have become so fond of. And, still today you can not find any prolific men that have influenced the world more than Jesus and Muhammad have. These two men control Nations and used their words as the foundation of their cultures and laws. Fully half of the world’s indigenous religion cultures trace the roots of their beliefs back to Muhammad’s words in the Quran and the teachings of Jesus Christ in the bible. Jesus was said to be the son of God. He was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph. The year is said to have been 4 B.C., although there are no historical records to prove this fact. The birth took place in a stable after Mary and Joseph endured a long journey and needed a place to sleep (Fisher, 2005). The birth of Jesus brought many people to Bethlehem to worship him. Many shepherds and men known as the wise men came to pay their respects. 2

We clearly do not know that much information about the childhood of Jesus [Fisher2005]. He grew up in Nazareth and had a normal life. His father was a hard-working carpenter. Jesus was said to have been a humble boy. The Bible tells a story of the time when Jesus was 12 Years old and he traveled to
