The ABC’s of Bourbon A: AMERICAN MADE – Bourbon can only be made in America, not just Kentucky. B: BARRELS – Bourbon must be aged in new, charred, white oak barrels. C: CORN – Bourbon must be made of at least 51% corn. Other ingredients are malted barley and either rye or wheat as a flavoring grain. D: DISTILLED – Bourbon is distilled at no more than 160 proof

The ABC’S of Bourbon E: ENTERED – Bourbon is entered in the aging barrel at no more than 125 proof. F: FILLED – Bottles are filled at no less than 80 proof. G: GENUINE – No additional alcohol, coloring, or caramel flavoring can be added to the product.

Maker’s Mark Redhead Ingredients: • 2 parts Maker’s Mark • Splash of cranberry juice • Serve on the rocks and top off with club soda. Maker’s Mark Manhattan Ingredients: • 2 parts Maker’s Mark • 1 part sweet vermouth • 1 tsp. maraschino cherry juice • Maraschino cherry • Fill Maker’s Mark cocktail shaker half full with ice; add 2 parts Maker’s Mark, 1 part sweet • vermouth, and maraschino cherry juice.
