Khai Minh Le English 101 – Jeb Wyman November 11 th “A Dream Deferred” This article documents these inequalities, identifies some of their sources, describes their consequences for the nature and quality of education provided to different groups of students in the United States like Asian, Jew, West Indians. Moreover, It explains why there is still a gap between Black and White people. First of all, we can realize the gap deeply in educational system of the wealthiest country. I found out on the internet that, “Recent analyses of data prepared for school finance cases in Alabama, California, New Jersey, New York, Louisiana, and Texas have found that on every tangible measure -- from qualified teachers to curriculum offerings -- schools serving greater numbers of students of color had significantly fewer resources than schools serving mostly white students.” The inequality in education lead to the fact that, “Blacks tend to have a 50 percent higher college droput rate than whites.” And
