Domestic Policy President Bush addressed the nation on his plans for withdrawing troops from Iraq and bringing them back home to the U.S. By July 2008 the troop level should drop from the current high of 160,000 to 130,000 or from 20 brigades to 15. President Bush proceeded to say that if this process occurred too rapidly, then progress made in Iraq would be reversed. This is a gradual process that will take time and patience. ( Info Please. Just recently, North Korea has agreed to disable its nuclear facilities. North Korea is disclosing information to our government on how much plutonium their facilities have produced, and plan to have all nuclear facilities dismantled by the end of 2007. In exchange for doing this, they will receive 950,000 metric tons of fuel oil and financial aid. The Bush administration will also be removing North Korea from the list of nations that sponsor terrorism. ( CNN.COM)
