Hon. 10/23/07 F block Fear Fear, a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etcetera, whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid. Fear is impossible to get rid of completely; it is always surrounding us in our lives. Fear is converted into cowardice, bravery, or directed toward the fear of the Lord. When people are afraid of something they shy away from doing it. In the end, they have to make up an excuse of why they can not do it. Some people, who fight against fear, become brave and overcome fear completely. As Christians, we need to only fear God, and trust Him that he will help us deal with our fears. Take the time to read these next few paragraphs and see why fear is so complex and a huge part of our lives. Fear can run our lives if we are not careful. In the book Treasure Island there are two paragraphs that speak of the peoples fear turning into cowardice. “They say cowardice is infectious. .. my mother made them a speech. She would not, she declared, lose money that
