Nick Black Carol Hensley English 1301 Section 8425 June 24, 2009 How to solve the issue of illegal immigration? Illegal immigration is and has been a problem that America needs to address. There are many different ideas and opinions of things that we could do in order to fix this prevalent issue. According to an ABC News article over 2,000 illegal immigrants were arrested and deported in just one month. “Just last month, federal agents conducted work-site raids in seven cities, arresting nearly 200 undocumented workers. Another 2,357 illegal immigrants previously ordered deported were also rounded up.” (ABC News) This is obviously a major issue. In my opinion we should approach this issue in a completely different way. The reason most illegal immigrants come to our country is to have a better life. I am against illegal immigration but I think there is a more reasonable and effective way to address this issue than work site raids and other methods of inevitable deportation.
