The NASDAQ Composite and Dow rose for the 7 th consecutive week, while S&P had a weekly loss of 0.19% it is said that had it losses because of Securities and Exchange Commission charged Goldman Sachs with fraud related to subprime mortgages. 2. The Toyota Motor Corp. (TM) has agreed to pay a $16.4 million civil fine levied by the U.S. government under an agreement that will allow the company to maintain legally that it didn't knowingly hide defects from regulators, a senior U.S. Transportation Department official said Sunday night. Experts still believe that TM’s stocks will continue to decrease due to the incidence. 3. Mattel Inc. One of the largest toy makers had its first-quarter profit as lower expenses and strength in items such as Barbie and Disney Princess dolls and many other toys. Right now, it seems unimportant to this company because it collects a large portion of its profits in the fourth company because of the holidays. 4.
