Why has his work been so influential? What’s the appeal? People all over the world have used his ideas to try to create “socialist” societies: China, Tanzania, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Chile, Zimbabwe, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde, Cuba, the Soviet Union and most of the rest of Eastern Europe; as well as “socialist” or “social democratic” political parties in most countries in Europe Caution: this does NOT mean that those countries actually DID use Marx’s ideas. He may have rolled in his grave many times, over the many disastrous misinterpretations of his ideas (Stalin, Mao, e.g.)

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
