Simulation 1 The Criteria Matrix The evaluation tools and techniques used within this simulation were a combination of the criteria matrix, importance weighting, and value analysis. Each of these is a great problem evaluation tool that can be used when faced with a tough decision. The matrix criteria allow teams, or groups, to base decisions on applicable information rather than instincts (Lewis. A & Associates, 2004). The importance weighting system allows groups to weigh each item of discussion to prioritize the importance of solving them. The value system assigns each issue a value to help aid group members in prioritizing the problems. All three of these methods used were great choices while completing the simulation. This writer feels that all of the choices used in this simulation are good ones, and ones that he would have used. By using these models the writer was able to see the true issues within the simulation, and then prioritize those issues in an order of solving them. As the writer moved
