Unformatted text preview: General Physics 1 Summer 2010 Schedule I tried making a spreadsheet with everything on it that could be printed out in two sheets, but I had to make too many abbreviations and I didnt want to confuse anyone needlessly. Theres confusion thats useful for learning, and then theres confusion that isnt usefulthis would have been the second kind. So bear with me, this is going to take a few pages. Read assignments refer to sections of the textbook. HW assignments are the homework due in recitation that day. A number preceded by a Q means that you do the Question, otherwise it refers to a Problem. Lab refers to the laboratory exercise that will be performed that day, with the report due on the next day of Lab meeting. Week 1 June 7: (Unit 1) Introduction, units and variables as a language. No assigned reading. June 8: (Unit 1) Measurement and error, significant figures. Read 1-4 through 1-8. No recitation or lab meetings. June 9: (Unit 1) Vector addition and decomposition.
