The calypso borealis is a story by John Muir. John Muir set out on a journey that had to do with going through lakes and woods. He had made it his whole life’s journey to find s specific flower. He had many hardships and struggle but when he stumbles he finds himself to find the flower in front of him. He is overjoyed with an overwhelming sense of excitement. The poem “I wandered lonely as a cloud” is written by William Wordsworth, a poet. He is a very romantic poet. This is about how he had seen a bunch of daffodils and it made him the happiest human alive. So whenever he is at home and not where the daffodils are, he gets a sense of lonliness and becomes depressed. Once he thinks of daffodils to be happy and have joyus thoughts. Both John and William have similiar perceptions about nature and the outdoors. They both find such beauty in nature and find joy when they are immersed in it. They both have faced sadness and feelings of heartache but overcome it and find happiness when they think or go to nature. I see
