Course Description: REL 1005: NEW TESTAMENT involves a scholarly study of the Christian Testament, known and the 'New Testament'. The course will examine the New Testament by way of the 'historical-critical' method. Lectures by the instructor will parallel student readings in the required texts. There is the possibility of a quiz every day; therefore students should be completely familiar with the material assigned. The daily syllabus below is an APPROXIMATION. Changes to the daily syllabus will be announced in class. REL 1005 is a General Education course with the following learning objectives:
