o What are the professions you selected? o Nursing and Psychiatric Aides o What type of training, level of education, or other qualifications are required for each profession? o There are training in high schools, vocational centers and some nursing facilities. Some employees provide classroom instructions for new hires that will last weeks to a couple of months. For certification to work in a nursing care facilities would need to complete minimum of 75 hours of state approved training. When completing the program they are certified nurse assistants (CNAs) o What types of agencies or facilities would employ your selected professions? o Psychiatric and substance abuse hospitals, general medical and surgical hospitals, Nursing care facilities, Individual and family services, and Residential mental retardation, mental health and substance abuse facilities, Community care facilities for the elderly, and home health care services.
