Bryan RutledgeIt was the beginning of Sophomore year. I had quit the freshmen football team, because everyone was self-centered. I was at the fall play, “It’s a Wonderful Life”. I had gone to see this because my brother was apart of the ensemble. I never really enjoyed going to see those shows, because I never cared about the shows themselves, and didn’t really care to support my brother. Looking back at that, I was terrible to my brother. I sat through the hour and a half long show with a twenty minute intermission. The show itself wasn’t that bad. The people who played the lead roles had done very well. But after the show, I was waiting for my brother to say Hi to everyone he knew, so that we could leave. Then my friend came up to me. He said “Hey, I didn’t know you came to these plays.” I replied, “ Yeah, my brother is in the show so I came to support. So why are you here?” “ Oh, I’m in running crew.” I sat there very confused as to what running crew. All I knew was apart of the plays was the acting, due to my brother being apart of it, and lights, because I had a friend who was doing it.
