Setup for Microsoft Excel Class, as you know, Excel is not required for this course, but we know it is useful and available. If you have not already done so and are interested in Excel, there is a link on your RES342 website titled “Excel® Resources. When you open up the link you will see instructions on accessing an Excel text resource. If you have not used Excel before, you may need to install the Analysis ToolPak. If the Data Analysis command is not on the Tools menu, you need to install the Analysis ToolPak in Microsoft Excel. If Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins dialog box, click Browse and locate the drive, folder name, and file name for the Analysis ToolPak add-in, Analys32.xll — usually located in the Microsoft Office\Office\Library\Analysis folder — or run the Setup program if it isn't installed. 2.
