BIO201B Labs 1. BIO201B labs start the week of March 17 2. Everyone must do the labs, even students repeating the course. 1. All lab-related problems must be handled by your TA, not me. 1. For help with lab-related problems, you must know who your TA is. You find this out by attending your first lab. 2. When you attend your first lab, check with the TA to make sure that your name is on their list to assure that you are in the right section. 3. You must attend the lab section you are registered for. I cannot and will not change your lab section

BIO201B Labs (cont.) 7. If you miss a lab, you must contact your TA, not me. I don’t handle lab matters, the TAs do. 8. Don’t ask me about switching labs, make-ups, excuses, etc. Ask your TA. 9. Buy the Lab Manual from the Bookstore. 10. It is essential that you read the chapter for the lab you are about to do BEFORE you come to lab. 11. Be sure you understand what the TA expects of you for your 5 points/lab. If you aren’t sure, ask your TA.

Lab Points 1. Each lab is worth 5 points for BIO201B 2. The TAs have up to 2 discretionary points for each lab. These points can be deducted for lateness, disruptive behavior, sloppiness, lack of preparation, etc. Your TA should make sure that everyone is aware of their policies on the distribution of these points. 3. Each student gets 3 points for showing the TA that they did the lab
