Intro to Physical Anthropology APY107 Lab #2- Primate Observations For this lab you are required to complete a series of observations on living  primates of your choice. You will have the option of using video footage or going  to a zoo to make your observations. 1. Complete a 15 minute  scan sampling  observation of a group of animals using  the form provided to you. You will focus your attention on each member of the  group in a consistent order, basically moving from one individual to another and  recording the behaviors you witness. 2. On a separate sheet, write a short paragraph that summarizes your scan  sampling observation. What are the behaviors you witnessed?  3. Complete 3  separate  5 minute observations on 3  different  focal animals using  the checklists provided to you. Check each time you see a particular behavior.
