1. What are Hamilton's seven arguments in favor of manufacturing? Explain them in your own words. I. The quality of goods or services increases because division of labor provides each respective laborer in a specific occupation to concentrate fully on one aspect of manufacturing. II. The ability to have machinery and the extension of machine-use helps increase the output, efficiency, and profit of a company or worker. Rather than having to worry about personal issues amongst employees, machinery allows the owner to focus on other areas where manpower is necessary. III. Additional employment for workers not ordinarily engaged in such business industries—women and children—provides jobs for anyone who wants them, even if they were or weren’t previously employed. Machinery allows owners to provide employment to all classes, which in return helps keep the community safe and occupied, reduces crime and unemployment, and allows the owner to have more flexibility. IV. Promoting immigration manufacturing would essentially ensure that
