Students will be able to recall significant facts about the Kush Kingdom such as what their major imports/exports were, who they traded with, and who their Gods were. C. MN Academic Standards a. World History b. World Civilizations and Religions, 1000 BC – 500 AD c. The student will demonstrate knowledge of ancient African civilizations. d. Students will locate various African civilizations and describe their structures and ways of living. D. Background Discussion: a. The past few days have been spent learning about other ancient African civilizations. These civilizations were those of Ghana, Mali, Songhay, Egypt and Benin. E. Materials: a. Poster board
