Biology 4165 Fall 2010 Environmental Adaptations Take-Home Examination One This examination is due at class time Tuesday October 5, 2009. This is an “open book” examination. You may discuss the questions with your classmates, but you must compose and write your own answers . Please double- check your sentences and spell-check your answers before you print them out. Answer the following questions concisely, but completely. The point value for each question is indicated. Note that in some of the sections you have a choice of which questions to answer. Again, let me reiterate: You may discuss the questions with classmates, but each student must compose and write her/his own answers. In other words, the examinations are to be completed independently. Students are responsible for submitting work for evaluation that reflects their individual performance and should not assume that the take-home examination is a “group” effort. 1.
