What advice would you give her about establishing the milk supply? Adequate energy Adequate fluids Adequate rest -Stimulate milk production by frequent feeding and not feeding formula. How would her nutrient requirements change? Increase for most nutrients, except for iron and folate ( no menstruation and cell division) What advice would you give Jane about going back to work? Freeze milk and by formula What supplement does Jane need? Vitamin D How do you know if James is hungry? Crying How do you know if he is hungry when he is older?
