Edmonds Community College is a public two-year college 24 kilometers north of Seattle. I it is
situated on a beautiful 50-acre campus in the safe, suburban community of Lynnwood,
Washington. Nearby are shops, banks, apartments, cafes and restaurants.
Edmonds Community College is 25 minutes north of downtown Seattle and 45 minutes north of
the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States,
we are about 1.5 hours from Vancouver, Canada, and minutes away from beaches and waterfront
parks on the beautiful Puget Sound.
Our campus is in a safe, quiet, suburb of Seattle and provides the perfect environment for
students to study. It is located on a beautiful 50-acre campus that includes a golf course. The
campus is within walking distance to stores, banks, and restaurants.
Lynnwood features the Alderwood Mall shopping center with theaters, major national stores, and
an eclectic mix of restaurants.
Nearby Edmonds is a quiet town on the shore of Puget Sound, a major inlet of the Pacific Ocean.
It offers a wide range of boutique restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and a ferry boat terminal to
the Olympic Peninsula, where the Olympic National Park is located.
The Seattle area – home to The Boeing Company, Microsoft Corporation, Starbucks Coffee
Company, and Amazon.com Inc. – is a major U.S. business and cultural center. It’s also home to
professional sports, such as the Mariners baseball team, the Sounders FC soccer team, and the
Seahawks football team.
Seattle is a major metropolitan city known for innovation and new ideas in technology, arts,
business, and culture. Outstanding theatre, opera, symphony, contemporary concerts, and art
exhibitions are trademarks of Seattle; and it’s only a short drive to world-class skiing, boating,
and hiking. The city’s restaurants are well known for a cuisine that blends European and Asian
styles of cooking.
