Levi Similarities: Both pages seem to have a similar focus. They are both focusing on the past life of the company. Though the eras, differ the US and the UK are trying to appeal to the modern day person, but not change the product that other may be loyal to. Aside from the obvious that both are selling clothing, both sites are very different from each other, and rightfully so, when dealing with different cultures. Differences: On the homepage for the US site, there is a photo of a rugged man, walking in a field. This is meant symbolizes America, and our culture. Levi’s were first born in America in the late 1800, and were designed with the American worker in mind. Miners, farmers, and ranchers wore the ‘waist trousers’ to replace their cotton pants that tore while working. The image on the US page, is depicting our roots, and trying but trying to appeal to a younger generation. The man in the photo has tattoos, which younger people might relate to more easily, but Levi is still trying to stay true to their beginnings. The site seems to be very simple. The pages are laid out neatly, and have a relaxed feel; even the tabs at the top of the page give the appearance as if they were hand written. The men’s clothing tended to be very loose, and
