III. The book talks about the Native American tribe and their way of perceiving life. When a killing drought threatens the living of the tribe, a courageous little girl sacrifices her most beloved possession to the Great Spirits and their answer results not only in much-needed rain but a very special gift in return. IV. The Content Objective for this lesson would communicate ideas effectively through speaking and discussion. Language Objective: The specific vocabulary I’ll cover during the lesson are Drums, Healing, Dancers, Rain, Forgiveness. The mentioned vocabulary will help the students understanding the key parts of the text without understanding these words with respect to their context it would be very difficult to understand the text.
