The book has a Lexile measure of 650L, with AR level of 3.7 and DRA level of 36, Fountas Pinnell of O and Guided reading of P, this book is appropriate for a grade level of 3-5 Years or preschool to kindergarten students. The author of this book Jonathon London started writing books for his kids, Most of Jonathan’s book is for kids and the froggy series which constitutes 48 books are developed for kids between 2-5 years. III. The Froggy goes to Hawaii is about a family which leaves off to Hawaii for a vacation. Hawaii is a vacation paradise for many. And so froggy plans to do numerous things in Hawaii. This book takes us through the Hawaii experiences of the froggy and his family of visiting the volcano, froggy jumping into the hot water steam and running off for a swim with sea turtles and many more adventures and fun. As they come to an end of vacation the book starts off a continuation where froggy and his father discussing new vacations with that indicating the possibility of the next book in the froggy series. IV. The content objectives of this text for students are to tell, write draw about what they hear and write, use pictures to understand the words they do not know. Language Objective: write using newly acquired basic vocabulary, spell familiar English words with increasing accuracy.
