Strong thesis REFLECTIVE ESSAY TOPICS o Mom found out about girl friend- Lying in the first place can lead to worse things o Yelling at my mom- giving respect to elders o Lying to my mom about her dress LIE A lie is an untruthful statement made to someone else with the intention to deceive. Many kids lie to their friends and family to look cool or to run away from the truth. To lie is to say something one believes to be false with the intention that it is taken for the truth by someone else. There are many situations in life that you may encounter that sometimes require you to lie some situations involve lying to parents and friends. However, it is up to us to choose if we want to lie or not. Two weeks ago I went shopping for Valentine’s Day. After looking all around Menlo Mall I finally found the perfect present for my girlfriend. It was a white gold ruby necklace, which cost $110. When I got home I quickly hid the necklace so my parents
