As is known to us, Norway has a total area of 385,252 square kilometres and a population of about 4.8 million. It is one of the most sparsely populated countries in Europe . The country is ranked second of per capita GDP of countries in the world. Moreover, it is the first Human Development Index countries in the world. In addition It is one of the world's highest level of education. Norway has rich resources of oil , natural gas , hydroelectric power , forests , and minerals , and was the second largest exporter of seafood . Because I got the opportunity to attend the summer exchange programme in Norway, I am very excited to experience the beautiful country. Next I will discuss Norway culture and my feeling to the Norway in the following paragraph. Flag of Norway : The flag of Norway was recently made in 1821 July 17.The flag consist of red, blue and white in order to give the Norwegians a patriotic spirit. Fredrik Meltzer, who also helped form the country’s constitution, designed the flag in 1821. The cross symbolizes Christianity . A lot of people believe the Christian religion. Norwegian people About the Norwegian dress, the people were generally dressed in casual way by European standards. In the summer, casual dress depends on the weather – in hot weather shorts and a T-shirt or jeans, etc. are acceptable for outdoor barbecues, etc. If the occasion is held indoors, always dress smartly. For instance, I have never seen my local teacher dressing in a formal
