Unformatted text preview: Chemistry of Life is an animated program that takes you through different aspects of chemistry as it relates to biology. This program is applicable to many topics we will discuss in Units 1 and 2 of this course. The program is contained in a number of files that are compressed into a ZIP file; all you need do is to download the file, then extract files using a zip file program. If you do not have one on your computer, you can download for free at: http://www.jzip.com/ (that’s the letter j as in “jay”) There also many other similar zipfile programs that can be downloaded for free (WinZip, StuffIt, etc); you can google “zip file program” to find these. I use the one listed above & works fine for me. Once you extract the files (extract them to your desktop), they will appear in a folder titled “ChemofLife”. Click folder to open and you will then see other files & folders; click on the red ChemofLife icon to open the program. The program will run, and you can then navigate to various topics. To end the program, hit the ESC key on your computer. ...
