When looking at Jim’s table and my table we have some similar answers in Muslim and Arab Americans we both had for example oppressive to women, patriarchal society governed by the Qur’an, fanatically religious, religious values perpetuated in politics male-dominated political environment, socially oppressed, strict moral values, socially oppressed, and socially compliant. In both categories we had good neighbor, women as homemakers, religious content in education and socially exclusionary. In Christian Americans we both feel that women go to work and they are not oppressed, they are immodest dressed, secular content in education and feminist. The way that both tables are different is that is my area of both categories I have both being well educated and under educated and both are law abiding and that both can be violent I think my area are a bit less judgmental or even more open minded rather that certain descriptors being one or another I have more as both and Jim does have as many in both categories’ he only had about eight in both categories.
