Forces that stabilize it are Electrostatic and Hydrophobic interactions. 4) Gel electrophoresis and nuclease digestion of the DNA. 5) H1 role is to fold up the 11nm fiber into more condensed packing into 30nm interphase chromatin. 6) Type A fiber = 11nm fiber of chromatin packing, Type B fiber = 30 nm fiber of chromatin packing.
