Cost per output and cost per outcome response 2 Human services agencies need to make the best use of cost per output and cost per income. Because resources are limited, the cost per income and cost per output estimating amount are valuable to all human services agencies. In order to better benefit the society they serve, human services agencies are normally non-profit organizations. Public donations/ funding are important to all human services an organization so they must show precisely, what is going on with their money or the public would stop donating. What the cost per output and the cost per outcome will tell human service workers is what there overhead is. Donations from outside sources are mandatory for human services agencies.
