o Describe all of the renewable energy alternatives presented in the video. Wind power is a conversion of wind turned into energy by using wind-powered generators. Solar power is the light and heat from the sun providing electrical generation which can be used to convert a limited amount of power. Solar concentrator looks like a bunch of mirrors clumped together, and has the ability to focus the sun’s energy into a narrow beam which then powers a large engine, and produces energy. This would be good for power companys to use. Biomass fementation this is when you take the left overs from the farmers after their harvesting is done and turn it into a fuel called ethanol. This fuel burns cleaner, and reduces pollution dramatically. o What are some challenges with using and managing these alternative, renewable energy resources? The challenges are competitiveness in costs, storage technology, interests of the fossil fuel industry.
