Matthew Cook ECE 272 Study Question Study Question: If you implemented a Mealy model, comment on how the TekBot would react differently if you had implemented a Moore model. If you implemented a Moore model, comment on how the TekBot would react differently if you had implemented a Mealy model. In this case we created a Mealey model. By definition: In the theory of computation, a Mealy machine is a finite state transducer that generates an output based on its current state and input.

Unformatted text preview: Our machine reacted to the inputs based on it's current state. A state machine which uses only Entry Actions, so that its output depends on the state, is called a Moore model. If we were to build a Moore model, our machine would have reacted soley based it's state. And thus it would be continualy changing states. Whereas our machine would run according to the state. But would change depending on the input....
