Statistics 350 – Excel Project One Part I: With the Original 82 data points: 1. The sample mean was 107.5854; sample variance was 697.0852; and the standard deviation was 26.40237. 2. By looking at the histogram, I would have to conclude that it is unimodal positively skewed. The five-number summary is: Minimum: 63, 1 st Quartile: 85, Median: 105.5, 3 rd Quartile: 128, and Maximum: 170. B. After calculating the Inter Quartile Range, and determining the Upper and Lower Fence, I found no outliers in this set of data.
