Feminism Criticism of Science
From the reading, the writer suggests various biases that pose a threat to science because
of the feeling that certain gender, female is left out. Some of the feminism criticism that is
discussed in the text are androcentric bias, employment bias, the bias in choice and definition of
problems and design and interpretation of experiments bias. Androcentric bias places male at the
centre of everything in science hence can also be referred to as the male bias. Such biases require
relatively and correspondingly a lot of radical changes to streamline science in its totality.
Feminism advocates for equal opportunities for both male and female to bring the sense of
neutrality in science. However, most of the scientific theories had been coined and hence the
subject poses a serious challenge that may or may not is addressed. The subject, therefore,
requires a liberal and harmonious approach of including feminism in the field of science that has
