Lecture 7 21/09/2010 09:07:00 Hume believed the problem of evil was soluble Perry believed the consistence problem of evil and God is solved at the end of  the problem. The problem of evil is not the problem of explaining why this world isn’t perfect,  but more explaining the amount of evil in the world.  We must experience some amount of evil in our lives to help us, to appreciate  happiness…however this isn’t amount of evil displayed to us in world.  Many believe that there is a conceptual tie between happiness and unhappiness. Looking at evil through a bigger picture is a way to for us, government, etc. . to  explain our evil acts. (i.e. bombs on Hiroshima were bad, but in a bigger picture, it could  be justifiable.  What ominicients are made by Sam
