Career Development Plan - Job Analysis Company Overview InterCean, Inc is an established sanitation company who has merged with another sanitation company called EnviroTech. The future profitability growth is impact by fulfilling the needs to change the company strategic path. InterClean, before the merged of EnviroTech, sells and markets cleaning products but with the merger the company will be inspire to begin marketing full scale of cleaning services and solutions to large industries such as health care organizations. The health care sectors are continually face with new regulations overseeing the maintenance of sterile environment to provide exception healthcare services without the fear of spreading diseases from unclean surroundings. The new services will include training employees, substantial monitoring of environmental regulations of cleaning and OSHA standards and full services cleaning contracts. Job Analysis and Workforce System Tamya Robinson, midlevel sales manager, job is to support the new transformation and formulate a new sales force. The sales team will consist of six sales team members headed by Tamya. A job analysis will be developing an outline of the requirement for the sales positions. Next, Tamya will produce a workforce planning system and finally, she will select the members for the new sales team. The success of a company is the people, so to ensure the organization obtains its goals, it is imperative the right people are chosen for this sales force. A job analysis is perform and a dual approach has been used for the methodology. The interview and job performance methods were uses to obtain a complete observation of the primary functions of the sale representative position. The disadvantage of these methods is that the potential candidates will establish a mis-intrepation of the intent of the interviewing and prior job appraisals evaluations, which is use in creating new sales position.
