Unit 2 Internet Assignment a1.) As household size rises above four people, the current dollar amount of median household income becomes smaller. a2.) I believe larger households in the United States have a lower standard of living than small households because the bigger the family is in number, the more they are going to be spending on electricity, water, food, etc. The family has to be more responsible and wise on how they spend their money compared to a household with only one or two people. Also, according to table H-11, you can see how there was a drastic change in households with one person to household with two people; but as the number of people grew the amount of money was only changing by 10,000 instead of 30,000. a3.) No the data does not support the notion that a larger household will have more money to spend and thus businesses should focus their advertising dollars on them because like I stated earlier, larger households are more responsible with their money and realize that the whole family needs to be taken care of before spending money on unnecessary goods. Just because they may have a larger household does not mean they will be spending all their income on unnecessary goods, but on the contrary they will be watching how they spend their money and rethinking if they really need what they want to buy. b1.) The main factor that determines the value of water would be its supply.
