Greetings new employees, and welcome to the Global Management Consulting Firm! As I’m sure you have noticed from orientation, this job includes a lot of time spent on the road and in the air traveling. Therefore, I would like to take this time to point out 6 important tips to ensure your travels are low-risk and low-stress. 1. Plan Ahead - It’s always good to plan ahead to avoid any last minute running around. One example is to create a list of items that you need to take with you. Arriving at your destination to find out that you forgot your 3 days worth of socks could be unpleasant. Another example is to dress appropriately for the traveling. Therefore if you are flying, try to minimize the amount of metal you are wearing so the security screening will go quickly. 2. Think Smart/Safe – This is definitely something that should not be taken lightly, since there are many people out there that prey on absentminded travelers.
