Therefore, we are proud to announce that all North American dealerships will be receiving the Volt to begin selling to the public in November 2010. Prior to the arrival of these vehicles, we would like to brief your sales team on a few key points so as to inform potential future buyers. For up to the first 40 miles, the Volt is powered by electrical energy stored in its on-board lithium-ion batteries which are charged by connection to an electrical power outlet. The car's battery pack can be fully charged by plugging the car into a 120-240V AC
