International Trade Debate AP NEWS Latest local, national & international news from the Associated Press AP BREAKING NEWS…“The United States must place high tariffs and use quotas to restrict trade with foreign countries.” In the current state of the world and its economy, a very substantial importance is put on international trade. The United States and this announcement could be devastating to the global economy. International trade in the economies of the globe has been relied upon for centuries. Countries depend on international trade for acquisition of their products and services essential for everyday living. International trade and the policies of the countries involved in this type of commerce often times invite controversy. Debate over the international trade policies of their countries has kept many consumers busy in support and opposition of their countries policies. Each group of supporters or protesters feel the actions of their home country are either advantageous or disastrous to the welfare of the country. The citizens of the nation that support international trade with foreign nations believe that there are many advantages to this type of commerce. The followers support the freedom of choices and greater inventory of products being exposed to their economies.
