There are two types of faults we can simulate with our digital logic simulator: Stuck at 0 (SA0) * Stuck at 1 (SA1) For an AND gate: Input SA0 = Output SA0 (Input SA1 still allows output to change value - albeit incorrect) For an OR gate: Input SA1 = Output SA1 (Input SA0 still allows output to change value - albeit incorrect) There are many other faults in the lab: loose wires, burned out LED, wire broken in insulation, bad IC’s Open Debug.cct and discover which inputs/outputs are stuck, and what values they’re stuck at.
