You need to record your activities for 2 days – a weekday and a weekend day. Try to select "typical" days. Start each day at midnight and make sure that the total time for each day adds up to 1440 minutes – the number of minutes in 1 day. Record these activities on Tables 8-11 and 8-12. After each daily caloric expenditure form has been completed, you need to group some of the activities together and transfer them to the daily caloric expenditure summary forms (Tables 8-13 and 8-14).
