Unformatted text preview: Although we do have a great special educational system there are still some very weak aspects of the system. I don't feel like educators put enough pressure on special educational students. I feel that some type of evaluation of the students should be into place three times a year. I feel that an evaluation should be put into place at the beginning of the school year to see what the child's weak areas are. Then one should be taken during the middle of the school year to see if the child has progressed and then one should be taken at the end of the school year to see how much the child learned and if their weak areas were improved. After all the research and reading done throughout this class, I realized that we focused on creating programs that will allow the child to be accepted into the educational environment but not enough evaluations are taken of the special educational children. Not enough monitoring is done to really improve the quality of their education....
