TEXTBOOK AND STUDY QUESTIONS: There is no required textbook. My own lecture notes and other materials (review/study questions, exams from previous years) will be avail- able online. The lecture notes will be available just before the class; lecture notes follow lectures closely but they are not substitutes. The course website is http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/10F/econ101-1/ Follow links to obtain the materials. EXAMS AND GRADING: There will be two midterm exams and a comprehensive final exam. The two midterm exams will take place during the regular class time, and the final exam will take place during the exam week. The dates of the two midterm exams are Tue, 10/26/10, and Tue, 11/30/10. The percentage grades for the course will be obtained as an average between the final exam and the maximum of the two midterm exams.
