Appendix C Assignment 10/15/10 Math 116 Kevin O’Neill A. Integer that represents total budget. 118,250 B. P=25% x 118,250 C. P=25% x 118,250 P=.25 x 118,250 P= $29,562.50 I figured this out by multiplying my budget total and by 25 percent. Before multiplying, I moved the decimal point up two spaces in 25 percent. Doing this will give me the total of 25% percent from my total budget. D. 25 percent of my total budget comes out to $29,562.50, which is the rent and utility costs. If an investor gave me $22,250, this would not cover the rent and utility costs. E. After paying the rent and utilities, I did the equation and came up with $110,937.50. I did all of the math to the equation and added the total budget and the investors money and took away the 25 percent for rent and utilities. 2. 70+(45 x 7) = the degrees it will be after the oven is on for 7 minutes. This answer comes out to 385 degrees. First I decided to multiply the 45 degrees a minute by 7
