Appendix C Assignment 10/15/10 Math 116 Kevin O’Neill A. Integer that represents total budget. 118,250 B. P=25% x 118,250 C. P=25% x 118,250 P=.25 x 118,250 P= \$29,562.50 I figured this out by multiplying my budget total and by 25 percent. Before multiplying, I moved the decimal point up two spaces in 25 percent. Doing this will give me the total of 25% percent from my total budget. D. 25 percent of my total budget comes out to \$29,562.50, which is the rent and utility costs. If an investor gave me \$22,250, this would not cover the rent and utility costs. E. After paying the rent and utilities, I did the equation and came up with \$110,937.50. I did all of the math to the equation and added the total budget and the investors money and took away the 25 percent for rent and utilities. 2. 70+(45 x 7) = the degrees it will be after the oven is on for 7 minutes. This answer comes out to 385 degrees. First I decided to multiply the 45 degrees a minute by 7

C=R-P would be the equation to find the cost. b. P=R-C 1,281=R-1,463 R= 2,744 The total revenue is 2,744 dollars. I used the equation P=R-C because it adds the total of money made in the one day. 5. a. Cost of Labor is \$1,835 and the percent of the labor out of the budget is 36.7%. b.
